Hiiiiii!

PKB…Pamela K. Bonner, Author/Self Publisher/Playwright. The more I say those words, the easier it’s becoming to say. Not in arrogance but in acceptance. I am now the author of three books…a book of poetry and two picture books. I am also a playwright.

For a long time, from childhood, I was always doodling and scribbling; always acting as if I was writing something important. Mostly, it was my name...

As I got older, I continued to put pen(cil) to paper venturing on into the Administration field. I really never gave any thought to why I was in this field but while doing this type of work, I gained a lot of experience in formatting, designing, creating, editing, etc. This experience has been an asset in getting me to this point…being able to create and self-publish my own books. But, before the books, I was writing poetry (one of my books) and plays. I have had the pleasure of having some of the plays showcased and directed by me.

I continued to write and create because I enjoyed it and the desire was there, so, I followed the pull…even in the not knowing. As all of this great stuff was going on, some not so great stuff was happening also…which is what life is all about. But, it’s what we pay attention to; what we focus on; who we focus on.

It wasn’t until I was well into my adult life that I accepted and embraced what God has so graciously given me. The reason for the Bible scripture reference at the beginning of this page is because it has made a true difference in how I see myself.

I recently had a revelation about the word, LIFE…Living In Full Existence! I cannot live in full existence living in the past. I am glad to have learned and still learning to live in the moments and to live in that guidance within.
